Beaded jewelry pieces created at Dora Beading Company are individually handcrafted by the artist, Cindy Reedy.  Materials used are sterling silver, a variety of gemstones, glass beads and other natural materials.

Many of the glass beads are one-of-a-kind lampwork beads created in the home studio of the artist.  The resulting pieces, although sometimes similar in style, are truly unique.

Some of the stones used are turquoise, onyx, jade, ruby, garnet, various shades of quartz, among others. Glass lampwork beads are often used as a focal point for a piece. Many of the glass beads are one of a kind lampwork beads created in the home studio of the the artist. The resulting pieces, although sometimes similar in style, are truly not duplicated.

Hand Made Lampwork Beads - HMLW beads - The materials used in the jewelry, particularly the natural stone and gemstones will vary. The differences in color or patterns on the stones make them more interesting. Very seldom are there two that are exactly alike. I will specify if a lampwork bead is made by me in my studio by the designation: HMLW bead.
